Grove Fort is a self catering farm house in the heart of County Down, Northern Ireland. It is situated on a working cattle and sheep farm and while the setting is rural and peaceful it is a central location for visiting most parts of Northern Ireland. It comprises 3 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 6 people.

The original farmhouse has been renovated and modernised. It is situated where Grove and Fort roads meet -hence the name! The front of the house looks up the hill towards Gransha Fort. The owners, Ivan and Annette Rankin, live next door and are on hand to deal with problems and give directions etc as necessary. For this reason check in and leaving times can be quite flexible. We welcome cyclists to the house as we are on a very popular cycling route, over the very challenging Slieve Croob to Castlewellan. Secure storage for motorcycles and bicycles is available.
